House Buyers in Red Deer - Good time to Buy
Today in Red Deer, we sit with only 278 single family homes listed on the market. Of those 278 homes listed, already 20 of those are pending with an offer. Subsequently there are only, as of today, 258 single family homes available for purchase in Red Deer. This is below our "normal" market. A "normal", "balanced" market here in Red Deer is approxmately 350 single family homes on the market at any given time period. We are approximately 100 homes short of that. What does this mean for the Buyer out there today? This means that unless more homes come onto the market, the potential of home prices going up, is there. The supply will be low and the demand may be high with Buyers utilizing the low interest rates that are still available.
With this in mind, the Buyers that are sitting on the fence, waiting to see what is going to happen to the house prices, may be out of luck. Prices may be on the rise. With interest rates low and house prices still low, now is a great time to buy.
